Description : The Malta Aviation Museum is housed at a former Royal Airforce Station at Ta' Qali. The museum accommodates a rebuilt Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX (built in 1942) and a Hawker Hurricane Mk IIA (built in 1941) and a collection of aircraft engines, models, uniforms, memorabilia and airfield equipment.

Description : Parisio Palace was originally built in 1733 by the Portuguese Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena and was later bought and embellished by Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna in 1898. During the years, the palace has been the residence of the most popular Grand Masters of the Knights of St. John, Sicilian and Maltese nobility and temporarily of the local Jesuit community. The palace is a showcase of Maltese craftsmanship at the turn of the 19th century and is described as “a miniature Versailles”. Its gardens are still an impressive example of classic, baroque formality.

Description : The Mosta Dome is the third largest unsupported dome in Europe and is dedicated to the Assumption. It was built between 1832 and 1863 around Mosta’s previous parish church which was then demolished and brought out stone by stone, through the doorways of the magnificent new edifice. The Mosta Dome is an architectural masterpiece distinguished by the grandeur of its 67 metre high cupola and neo-classic façade embellished by iconic columns. The church, designed by the Maltese Architect Grognet de Vassee, escaped destruction in the Second World War when an afternoon air-raid on the 9th of April 1942 saw a 200kg bomb penetrating the dome and landed on the mosaic floor where 300 people were gathered in prayer. The bomb failed to explode and a replica of the bomb is now on display in the church.

Apart from the open-air displays, visitors can also witness exquisite stonework being created in the adjoining indoor complex.
