MUSEUMS THE CLASSIC CAR MUSEUM
Location : Klamari Street, Qawra.
Opening Time : Monday to Friday between 0930 hours to 1800 hours and Saturday and Sunday between 0930 hours to 1330 hours.
Description : The Classic Car Museum is situated within the Vela Vista Complex in Qawra and is the island’s first public automobile museum. It is privately owned by Mr. Carol Galea, an avid car enthusiast, and holds classic cars as Alfa Romeo, Austin, Jaguar, MG, Sunbeam and Triumph and the latest BMW, Jaguar and Ferrari. The museum also holds classic motorbikes as BSA, Lambretta and Vespa.
Admission : Adults € 7 and children € 4.50.

BUIDINGS AND STRRUCTURES ST. AGATHA’S TOWER (THE RED TOWER)
Location : Mellieha
Opening Time : Monday to Sunday from 1000 hours to 1300 hours. Tuesdays open from 1000 hours to 1600 hours.
Description : St. Agatha's Tower was completed in 1649 during the Grand Mastership of Juan de Lascaris-Castellar to a design by Antonio Garsin. It is also known as the Red Tower due to the colour it is painted. It was the Knights' primary stronghold in the west of Malta, and was manned by a garrison of 30 men, with ammunition and supplies to withstand a siege of 40 days. One of the main defensive positions during the time of the Knights, it was equipped with a cannon and garrison of 30 men. During the British period it was used for defence purposes and was manned during both World wars.

WIGNACOURT TOWER
Location : St. Paul’s Bay
Opening Time : Monday to Friday from 1000 hours to 1300 hours, and on the first Sunday of the month. Closed on Tuesdays.
Description : This Tower was built in 1610 by Grand Master Alof de Wignacourt on designs by the Maltese architect Vittorio Cassar. It is the oldest surviving coastal defence post in Malta. In 1715 a coastal battery was added to increase its firepower. During the eighteenth century, the Tower was equipped with two 6-pounder and three 18-pounder cannon and in the following century it was used as a police station and telegraph post.

THEME PARKS POPEYE VILLAGE
Location : Anchor Bay, Mellieha.
Opening Time : Daily from 0900 hours to 1700 hours.
Description : The set for the Popeye film staring Robin Williams and Shelly Duval was built in Malta at Anchor Bay over a seven-month period in 1979. Although some of the houses are just facades used to bulk up the set, over eight tons of nails and 7,500 litres of paint were used to build the structure. Nowadays Popeye’s Village is used as a fun park and offers various rides and games for the children. Animation shows featuring Popeye and Olive Oil are also held daily at regular times whilst one can watch traditional glass-blowing, a Silver Smith at work, Santa’s Toy Town (in Christmas time), or swim in the pools, including the wonderful splash pool.
