St. Julian’sSt. Julian’s is the biggest and liveliest holiday area in Malta. It includes the smaller bays of Balluta Bay and Spinola Bay, the new marina of Portomaso and the quieter district of St. George's Bay. While the bays are very picturesque, the area is heavily developed with several four and five star hotels alongside residential and business blocks. St Julian's is also home to the island's principal nightlife district of Paceville.

Technically, there are no tourist attractions in St Julian's but the locality offers much to tourists looking for entertainment including cinemas, state-of-the-art 10-pin bowling centre, a modern shopping mall, bars, restaurants, discos and a casino.

Night spots are legally bound to close at 0400 hours but the party goes on in the streets till much later.
